The lunch pic is of my lunch I ate while visiting Positano, during the stay in Napoli. Took me three and a half hours to get there by two buses and one train, but look how beautiful it was!! I was tired and it WAS WORTH EVERY SPENT SECOND TO BE THERE.
October 13, 2006 (Friday the 13th and in Venice!) 725AM
Good Morning, got up to use the restroom, then decided to eat the fruit bowl (small) that I stashed in my stateroom little refrigerator, then decided I needed music and now here I am.
Well, it’s looking very gray and hopefully just a bit hazy. I heard that the cruise that I’m on, last week, it rained every day....so we’ve definitely been fortunate to have good, sunny weather so far. Plus while on the tv the other day, I saw in Barcelona, that this weekend or at least today, they were still expecting rain. Good thing that I brought my windbreaker to go over my clothes (layers) to ward off the rain if it does end up raining.
I’m imagining it will at some point....enough of that for now....don’t want to jinx it or anything.
Well, had a great night’s sleep....it seemed like it went on forever! Nice!
I trimmed my beard just now and am looking at the hair on my head and I think it’s grown a bit since last weekend...LOL. It’s so short, you can’t even imagine!! Hairless Toddy!!
I don’t want to workout today....have put my body through enough the past week and have been working out daily since on the ship Tuesday, twice yesterday! So will workout tomorrow and possibly Sunday. I’m excited to go see Venice today after 1pm. No doubt there will be alot of activity exiting the boat....so may not leave until around 2pm.
Masquerade Party!! We will, as a ship, have a Masquerade Party tomorrow around 3pm while leaving the Port of Venezia. So we are all having to try to find a mask to wear. I’m hoping that I can get something very cool while there. Even thinking I may be able to get something for Mama Yvonne here, while in Venice....I hope so, since I haven’t gotten anything yet. I do have a great idea for her in Rome, so if don’t find something else more unique, I already know of something that’s fairly easy to get there and wouldn’t have to carry it around until then and fear it breaking.
Rialto Bridge in Venice is very famous. As well as St. Mark’s Square...I’m told the pigeons still come and eat out of your hand while there, not sure if I want to do that! LOL Disease? Maybe then quickly wash off with hotter than hot water.
Well, ciao for now....I’m emptying my brain that’s for sure. I’m not sure how interesting this will all be....just glad to have an outlet of communication. Love You!
P.S. Just opened the curtains all the way in my stateroom, and far off to the left, I see different colors in the sky, which hopefully means we’ll have sunny weather in Venice! Thank You, God.
