Today I attended the WEREP meeting, then it was off to run errands...stopped by the office, dropped off a present for a closing and also removed my flier box, in escrow sign (my sign post guy will be removing the sign first part of the week) and then I was off to Rhonda’s coffeehouse where we caught up, I worked on a few things there, and we took some pics. I asked her to give me certain information and I’m going to try to get a press release in the newspaper for her "it’s a grind" coffeehouse....her employees and I (along with her) hammed it up for the camera then I was off to PS.
Stopped in Cabazon for about 20 minutes to check on a few things. I was then off to meet a friend for lunch in PS. My friend couldn’t make it, so was able to stop at a clients home who I may be listing for sale come Fall, 2007. Took a few pics of that then it was off again to eat lunch on my own.
After that shopped for a few presents at the local Trader Joe’s and then whisked off to Indio to see my friend, Anita. Her and I have been college buds since 1985 (when we attended college together) and then I was in hers and Ricardo’s wedding....and that was fun....now they just purchased a home in Indio and work there and they have three beautiful children....here are some pics of us in their new DR Horton home. It’s 3,200+ s.f. and is really a nice floorplan. It was extremely windy out in the PS area today.
I’m writing you at 116am on Saturday morning...still up..I can’t believe it either.
Then it was off to meet another friend and business associate and we went out and had a happy hour then dinner at one of my all-time favorite haunts in PS... "Europa"....My favorite waitress served us there where we enjoyed brie appetizer, Europa Salad and I had Europa Filet (Mignon)...absolutely delish and impeccable service. Funny how my friend’s favorite restaurant is the same place and we hadn’t even talked about it.
Then off in the convertible and ...oh, at happy hour saw John Corbett from Access Hollywood...was going to ask for an autograph or something but didn’t want to bug...anyway, it was a beautiful and still a bit windy night in the desert then am now staying here for the night...my accomodations are incredible and I can’t wait to eat my Trader Joe’s Cinammon Roll in the am with coffee...Not sure if I’ll make it back home tomorrow or stay another night at this point, but who’s supposed to plan that far ahead when they’re off!? LOL
Well, I’d better scram and hit the hay...showered and feel much better after a long, long day...Thanks for the fun, support and good times everyone.
