Just got back into my stateroom from an hour and a half at the internet cafe. I got my entries into my blog, as drafts, so that way when I get back, I can just load the pics of those days (not all, but a few of each) and then post the entries.
My thinking was that since I had idle time and kinda boring in my room, alone, and didn’t really "feel" like being a butterfly, that I’d be productive with my time. Maybe it’s part of being homesick? (but who’s analyzing??)
Tonight, the towel animal that I found on my bed was a swan....they are too good to me...my room attendants. Will have to be sure to tip them well, for their efforts...they’ve done a remarkably detailed job throughout this trip! (thus far...lol)
So am pleased to have the entries up to date, pretty much and ready to post ~ that will make it a bit easier when I am back in full swing.
I did try to put the pics in also, to my blog, but for some reason the wifi or whatever, wasn’t cooperating.
Tomorrow is my first day that I really have a set schedule....I have to be in the Venetian Palace at 840am to meet up with the group who is doing "Taormina (in Sicily) On Your Own"....I believe, if I remember right, we will have like 4 hours of leisure time up there....which I will do my best to enjoy. I hope the weather stays good.
This afternoon the captain of Liberty came on and announced we may get some thunderstorms....which thankfully didn’t come.
Before I left I made some cd’s of my all~time favorite music and songs.....made two compilations and they have really become a source of company and inspiration. I’ve had a chance to think about a few things and haven’t really been thinking much about work ~ so that’s an accomplishment and worth every penny that I’ve spent on this European Cruise/Vaca!!
I haven’t read as much as I thought I would, but I still have another week or so...well, a week from now, and I’m advancing to California time, so nine hours behind us right now...I’ll be arriving in California and maybe Papa will pick me up...we’re emailing right now, so still not certain. I told him in the email not to stress, that I can just "shuttle" home....
Well, I am kinda tired and restless all in one. Think I will try to just rest a bit and then hopefully get to sleep by 1030pm or so....
