daylight savings

Daylight Savings - 50 Year Update
The Secretary of the U.S. Department of Measurements and Weights along with its federal staff, in cooperation with the National Institute of Standards and Technology, (NIST), is reminding all residents of one of the most important adjustments in the last 50-years in this country that is about to take place this coming weekend, April 1-2, 2006.Citizens of every state are reminded to practice the annual "Spring Ahead," ritual, however this year's traditional practice takes on an even more ominous meaning of importance for all members of the U.S. workforce, including transportation -- trains, planes and buses, the farming and cattle industry, as well all banking, the U.S. Postal Service, together with the U.S. Stock Exchange. Not since the introduction of the "metric system" here in the U.S., has a one-time standard adjustment motivated as much controversy and stirred national debate and discussion as the "48-hour turn-ahead."Because of the annual clock adjustment in spring to turn clocks ahead one-hour, "civil time" is occasionally adjusted by one second increments to ensure that the difference between a uniform time scale defined by atomic clocks does not differ from the Earth's normal rotational time by more than 0.9 seconds. Over the last 50-years, a loss of about 48-hours has occurred, and so in order to "make-up" the lost time and "synch-up" all clocks with the atomic clock in Fort Collins, Colorado, and to ensure that the lunar and tidal schedules are normal, clocks are to be "turned forward" a full 48-hours. The practice will in essence move all time ahead a full 48-hours, and will in a sense, move the week's calendar from 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning to 2:00 a.m. Monday morning. All government, public agencies, banks, schools, along with state, county and municipal works forces are to report to work as normal in order to start their next work week, in essence, skipping the entire weekend. All agencies and business will fully compensate their workers with full sick-time and vacation time benefits, however the work week will not exceed a full 40-hour schedule for payroll deductions.Historically, the measurement of a "second" was defined in terms of the rotation of the Earth as 1/86,400 of a mean solar day. Dating back to 1956, the International Committee for Weights and Measures, under the authority given it by the Tenth General Conference on Weights and Measures held earlier in 1954, defined the second in terms of the period of revolution of the Earth around the Sun for a particular epoch, because by then it had become recognized that the Earth's rotation was not sufficiently uniform as a standard of time. The Earth's motion was described in Newcomb's Tables of the Sun, which provides a formula for the motion of the Sun at the epoch 1900 based on astronomical observations made during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. This definition was ratified by the Eleventh General Conference on Weights and Measures later in 1960. Ephemeris Time (ET) was defined as the measure of time that brings the observed positions of the celestial bodies into accord with the Newtonian dynamical theory of motion, or in this case, an "epoch" of the tropical year of 31,556,925.9747 seconds of ephemeris time.Following additional years of work U.S. Naval Observatory astronomers and counterparts at the National Physical Laboratory located in Teddington, England, determined the orbital motion of the Moon about the Earth, from which the apparent motion of the Sun could be inferred, by measurement by an atomic clock, and so in 1967, was defined the second, of atomic time in the International System of Units. Because the Earth is constantly undergoing a slight deceleration caused by the braking action of the tides, it is possible to determine the average deceleration of the Earth and thus, calculate and also adjust time measurement systems once every 50-years to correspond the anticipated loss of time.NOTE: Daylight Saving Time - for the U.S. and its territories - has NOT been traditionally observed in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the Eastern Time Zone portion of the State of Indiana, and by most of Arizona (with the exception of the Navajo Indian Reservation in Arizona), however, ALL states and territories will observe this leap ahead. This is to resolve the difference within time zones and states. Everyone in a particular time zone will now always be on the same time schedule.
Above all it is important to note that Saturday April 1st is indeed APRIL FOOL'S DAY and that this Marketing Tip is a bunch of
hogwash to get everyone into the spirit of fun and lightheartedness that we all need to indulge from time to time. Have a wonderful weekend, and HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY!

spent the afternoon today painting with papa and nonna.
we had a great time overall.
papa was especially impressive in displaying his artistic talents ~ see pasta bowl to the right! i'm so proud of him. nonna actually held her own as well. i'm pooped, of course, still in my gym clothes from this morning...managed to get a quick workout in after some work i had to get done and appts. this morning too. it's cold outside, i'm ready for a nap...then to pickup my bookmarks and hopefully finish them up ~ putting the ribbons on them and getting them ready to handout. price reduction on darlene ct. today to $745,000. hope to get it sold quickly now. we may still need to reduce a bit, but we'll see how this goes....no showings this past week...there are currently other properties that are in the same area around $655,000 so you can imagine why no showings! we'll get it sold though. it's definitely a nice home and you know it shows great also!

headed over to visit Ron, Bev and the family and say "goodbye" before they leave for Arkansas....also, another important reason I'm going is to say, "goodbye" to their beagle, "Skooter" ~ who I instantly fell in love with. It had only been about a month since I lost Bella when I met Skooter....(Bella was my dalmatian that I had for 12+ years and was my kid and bestest best friend)...and Skooter was just such a great reminder of Bella....smart, cute, funny, personable and loving ~ with that spark in her eye like Bella had when she was a youngster, that I had to fall in love with Skooter. I will miss you all!! (Ron, Bev, Skoot, Janice, Kendra & Kevin) I know K & K are staying....yeah! Maybe that means R & B will be back? LOL

I wish you guys a safe and fun trip.....with all the positive things that could come of it.

Your Realtor and Friend,
Todd

p.s. I will slowly get over my loss of Bella, please don't think I'm psycho or anything, just working through the loss still.....

;)

Kisses to Bella in heaven

how to recognize a stroke...

Had seen this before, but not this clearly and not with the tip about sticking out the tongue. Good to remember.

STROKE: Remember The 1st Three Letters...

STROKE IDENTIFICATION:
My friend sent this to me and encouraged me to post it and spread the word, I agreed. If everyone can remember something this simple, we could save some folks. Seriously . please read:
During a BBQ, a friend stumbled and took a little fall - she assured everyone that she was fine (they offered to call paramedics) and just tripped over a brick because of her new shoes. They got her cleaned up and got her a new plate of food - while she appeared a bit shaken up, Ingrid went about enjoying herself the rest of the afternoon. Ingrid's husband called later saying that his wife had been taken to the hospital and passed away. She had suffered a stroke at the BBQ. Had they known how to identify the signs of a stroke, perhaps Ingrid would be with us today. Some stroke victims don't die, they end up in a helpless, hopeless condition instead.
It only takes a minute to read this...
A neurologist says that if he can get to a stroke victim within three hours he can totally reverse the effects of a stroke . . . totally. He said the trick was having a stroke recognized, diagnosed and then getting the patient medically cared for within three hours, which is tough.
RECOGNIZING A STROKE:

Thank God for the sense to remember the "3" steps.
Read and Learn!

Sometimes symptoms of a stroke are difficult to identify. Unfortunately, the lack of awareness spells disaster. The stroke victim may suffer severe brain damage when people nearby fail to recognize the symptoms of a stroke.

Now doctors say a bystander can recognize a stroke by asking three simple questions:

S *Ask the individual to SMILE.

T *Ask the person to TALK, to SPEAK A SIMPLE SENTENCE. (Coherently) (i.e. . . It is sunny out today)

R *Ask him or her to RAISE BOTH ARMS.

NOTE: Another 'sign' of a stroke is this: Ask the person to 'stick' out their tongue . if the tongue
is 'crooked', if it goes to one side or the other, that is also an indication of a stroke.
If he or she has trouble with any one of these tasks, call 911 immediately and describe the symptoms to the dispatcher.

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this e-mail sends it to ten people, you can bet at least one life will be saved.

Received this from my friend, Stacey.

GRAZIE STACEY!!

my godmother's cookies

here are copies of my godmother, maria's, best cookies recipes.
first one is the one people still were talking about
at her funeral.

i still remember her giving me a huge cookie tupperware container filled with the rolled ones (first one) @ my college graduation and making me promise to come visit her.

the family seems to be doing pretty well....checked on them late yesterday afternoon on my way to the improv....well, here it is: try it sometime, it's yummy!!

THANK YOU ELENA!!!!

Maria’s Biscotti Involtini

4 C flour (sifted) 1 8-oz carton sour cream
3 cubes margarine, softened 1 TBSP vanilla
3 eggs (divided) Cinnamon sugar (about 1 C or more)
Confectioner's (powdered) sugar

Mix flour and margarine together (Maria did it by hand, so that’s the way I do it too)
Add three egg yolks, vanilla, and sour cream to the flour/margarine and mix thoroughly until a dough forms
Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour or more (the longer, the better – I usually do at least 4 hours)
Reserve the egg whites for now.

When you’re ready to assemble the cookies, beat the egg whites until stiff.
Divide the dough into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into a 8-9” circle using confectioner’s (powdered) sugar to roll it out on.
Brush the top of the circle with some egg whites, and sprinkle on more confectioner’s sugar and cinnamon sugar. It’s hard to describe how much sugar to add. I just add it until the circle is thinly covered with the sugars.
Next divide the circle into 8 triangular pieces using a pastry wheel or knife. Roll each piece beginning at the wide end.
Place each cookie on a greased baking sheet. Top each cookie with a bit of egg white and sprinkle on more cinnamon sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Note: I make my own cinnamon sugar instead of buying the little bottles at the store, which are expensive. I take 1C of sugar and add about one-fourth cup or so. That may be too much cinnamon for you, so you might want to adjust it for your own taste.

Maria’s Palette Cookies

4 ½ C flour (sifted) ½ tsp salt
1 C nuts, finely chopped 4 cubes margarine, softened
2 tsp vanilla

Blend all ingredients together to form dough.
Roll dough into small balls and place on lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
While still warm, carefully roll balls in powdered sugar.
Place on a rack to cool.

Here are the flowers the Seller and I planted @ Darlene Court.

sunday night

Hi !!!

It's Sunday night and had a decent "Open House" today on Darlene Court in Upland. Baked chocolate chip cookies (even left some for the Sellers!). There is one potential buyer who I already kind of know....they are my neighbors.....wouldn't that be great!?! We will see. Seems the market has slowed a bit.

Darlene was featured on the cover of The Daily Bulletin's Real Estate Section today.

Haven't had a chance to see it yet...hope it looked great??

Talked with a past client just now and am going to check on a property in Alta Loma for them. Hope it's still available? They are looking for horse property, preferably a "fixer". Hope to find something soon for them. I enjoy working with them..

Also, above you'll finally get to see the pics from my trip to "The Ivy" in Beverly Hills with my friend, Jeff, who lives down there. It was an early birthday present for him....his birthday is next month. Fun....that's where we saw Hulk Hogan and his family. I hope they publish the pics of Hulk in US Mag or Star or even National Enquirer...maybe I'll be in the background, be too cool.

Have another post to make...brb

officially mobile!!

Hi! I'm officially mobile now! Just got hooked up on my laptop to an internet cafe....how cool is this? Also, yesterday was fortunate to figure out how to make the sound work on my computer again....duh? It was a little knob on the side of it. Goes to show me that sometimes I get way too focused. I can't figure out how to make enter work on this keyboard of my laptop. Hope I do soon. Here is a pic of my cousin in Italy...and his Mom just had his little sister about two weeks ago....isn't this a great Italian pic? Just loved it. Had lunch with Nonna and Papa today in LaVerne...they both seemed in great spirits. Was supposed to have "Open House" on Darlene Court today, but it was misprinted in the newspaper today...and says it will be tomorrow. So I'm being flexible, going with the flow and it will be manana/domani. Domani is tomorrow in Italian. Well, gotta get running. Check out the article that I put in before this entry....hope it's right....ciao ciao~~

region bucks housing trend

**got this from the press enterprise newspaper today....
Region bucks housing trend
NEW-HOME SALES: The U.S. market is slumping, but the Inland Empire is posting record numbers.
10:40 PM PST on Friday, March 24, 2006
By LESLIE BERKMANThe Press-Enterprise
Sales of new homes nationwide dropped about 13 percent last month from the prior February even though home construction continued at a near record pace, pushing the unsold inventory of new homes to an all-time high, the U.S. Department of Commerce said Friday.
The slumping national new-home market contrasts sharply with the Inland Empire, which last month posted the strongest February on record for new-home sales in Riverside County, and the second strongest in San Bernardino County.
Riverside and San Bernardino counties together have less than a six-week supply of unsold new homes, according to Metro Study, a Riverside consulting firm. Nationally, the stockpile of 548,000 new housing units would take six months to absorb at the current sales rate, according to the Department of Commerce.
Analysts nonetheless see signs in the Inland Empire and across the nation that the once frenzied market is cooling as prices and interest rates rise, making houses less affordable. In San Bernardino and Riverside counties, home values are rising at a slower pace and homes are taking longer to sell.
In San Bernardino County, prices are rising at a 28 percent annual rate, down from 30 percent in October. Riverside County is averaging 10 percent appreciation now, down from a peak of 31 percent in May 2004, according to DataQuick Information Systems, a company that tracks housing trends.
In the fall, Inland builders sensed a change in the marketplace and started to slow construction to prevent a build up of unsold houses, said Metro Study director Steve Johnson. Also, the region's job growth has fueled home buying, as has the greater affordability of Inland homes compared to homes on the coast, he said.
Riverside County saw 1,932 new homes sold in February, compared with 1,601 a year earlier. In San Bernardino County, 734 homes were sold, the most for the month since 764 homes were sold in February 1989.
Pat Van Daele, chief executive of Riverside-based Van Daele Homes, said the company has closely watched sales, starts and inventory levels for the last six months. He said since fall, his company has reduced the number of new homes it offers for sale by 25 percent in each new phase to reflect slower sales. He said he believes his competitors have done likewise.
Still, new-home sales locally and nationally remain brisk from an historic perspective and it is uncertain that the crash some real estate experts have predicted will materialize.
"There are an awful lot of analysts and think tanks out there telling everybody in the world the sky is falling, and they have been consistently wrong," said John Karevoll, an analyst with DataQuick.
Karevoll questioned the Department of Commerce home-sales statistics, which he said are based on a small sampling projected over a national market. February is an extremely slow month and not good for making predictions, he said.
Karevoll and other analysts said the performance of the housing market in March will better indicate the trend.
"One month doesn't count," Alan Nevin, chief economist for the California Building Industry Association, said of the Commerce Department February results. He called the cooling of the national housing market "miniscule."
Chris Thornberg, senior economist for the UCLA Anderson Forecast, also was unimpressed by the reported February drop in national new-home sales.
"What I see is that the overall sales numbers are high, but they do seem like they have peaked and they are beginning to trend down slowly," he said.
The Commerce Department reported that between January and February, new-home sales nationwide dropped by 10.5 percent, which would be the biggest slide in almost nine years.
Steve Berman, survey statistician for the U.S. Department of Commerce, said that finding has a statistically large margin of error. More significant, he said, is that in the 12 months ending in February, the nation's new-home sales declined 13.4 percent.
Berman said concerns about February being an atypical sales month are unfounded because the department's sales numbers are adjusted for seasonal differences so they will project an annual trend.
Berman said, according to his figures, national new-home sales have been declining since reaching a record level in July.
New-home sales in February, he said, represents "a significant drop but still a historically high number. Is the sky falling? Not really."
The Commerce Department's report came on the heels of a report from the National Association of Realtors that in the same month, sales of existing single-family homes and condos rose by more than 5 percent. The sales were attributed to a warmer than usual winter that brought out more buyers.
Esmael Adibi, director of the Anderson Center at Chapman University, suggested that the disparity may be related to affordability.
"With higher interest rates and less affordability, we have been seeing a softening of demand for new homes," he said.

U.S. HOUSING STARTS DECLINE 4.8 PERCENT IN FEBRUARY

The seasonally adjusted annual rate for privately owned housing starts declined to 2.12 million units in February, according to a report released by the U.S. Dept. of Commerce.

The February construction pace was down 4.8 percent from a year ago. Single-family housing starts decreased 0.4 percent from February 2005, to a rate of 1.8 million units, while starts for buildings with five or more units fell 25.3 percent to 275,000.

The number of building permits issued, which can be an indicator of future building activity, edged up last month, climbing 2.5 percent from one year earlier to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 2.15 million permits.

Regionally, the South posted the largest increase in housing starts at 2.3 percent, followed by a 0.2 percent increase in the West.

leading index signals economic growth in short term

LEADING INDEX SIGNALS ECONOMIC GROWTH IN THE NEAR TERM

The U.S. leading index, a key barometer of economic conditions, declined 0.2 percent to 139.0 (1996=100) in February after increasing the previous four months, The Conference Board recently reported.

Five of the 10 indicators composing the leading index increased last month, including manufacturers' orders for nondefense capital goods, real money supply, average weekly manufacturing hours, manufacturers' orders for consumer goods, and interest rate spread.

Despite the decline, the leading index suggests economic growth is "likely to pick up in the near term," according to the report.

The coincident and lagging indices, which reflect current and past economic activity, respectively, increased in February.

The coincident index edged up 0.3 percent to 122.1, while the lagging index rose 0.1 percent to 122.6.

madonna's beast within mix....

got this from the internet...
madonna, the sometimes controversial singer and mother, is interpreting/reading words from the book of revelations....and i especially like the parts that are highlighted in turquoise....

The Beast Within Mix

Blessed is he who reads aloud the words of the prophecy
And blessed are those who hear
And who keep what is written therein

For the time is near

He is coming with the clouds
And every eye will see him
Everyone who pierced him
And all the tribes of the earth will wail on account of him

Those of you who have not learned what some call
the deep things of Satan
I know your works, I know your toil,
and your patient endurance

And how you cannot hear evil men
But have tested those who call themselves apostles, but are not
And found them to be false

I know that you are enduring patiently
and bearing out for my namesake

And you have not grown weary

But I have this against you

That you have abandoned the love you had

I know your tribulation and your poverty
And the slander of those who say that they are Jews,
but they are not
They are a synagogue of Satan

Do not fear what you are about to suffer
Behold the devil is about to throw you into prison

And I saw a beast rising out of the sea
with ten horns and seven heads
And a blasphemous name upon its head

And the beast that I saw was like a leopard
Its feet were like a bear's
And its mouth was like a lion's mouth
And to it the dragon gave his power, and his throne, and great authority

One of his heads had a mortal wound
But it seemed to have a mortal wound that was healed
And the whole earth followed the beast with wonder

Men worshipped the dragon for he had given his authority
to the beast
And they worshipped the beast saying
"Who is like the beast and who can fight against the beast?"
And the beast was given a mouth
uttering haughty and blasphemous words
And it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months
It opened its mouth to utter blasphemous words against God

It was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer
And authority was given it over every tribe
And a people and tongue and nation
And all who dwell on earth could worship it in vain

If anyone has an ear let him hear
If anyone is to be taken captive, into captivity he will go
If anyone who slays with the sword, with the sword

Then, I saw a new heaven and a new earth
And I heard a great voice from the throne saying:

"Behold the dwelling of God is with men
He will dwell with them, and they shall be his people
And God himself will be with them
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes
And death shall be no more

Neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore
For these things will have passed away

To the thirsty I will give water without price
From the fountain of the water of life

He who conquers shall have this heritage
And I will be his God and he shall be my son

But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the polluted
As for the murderers, fornicators, sorcerers, idolators,
and all liars
Their lot shall be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone."

And he said to me, he said to me:

"Do not seal up the words of the prophecy, for the time is near
Let the evildoers still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy
And the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy

Behold, I am coming soon

I am the alpha and the omega
The first and the last
The beginning and the end."
Amen

What are you gonna do?

remember, it's not me saying it, I only highlighted the parts that I enjoy and get value from. Please don't get freaked out about it...remember this is for entertainment purposes!

thanks cruizzer!

got this from someone i don't even know....(?)

Hello Mr. Picconi:

You must be a great realtor because the other evening I was in a grocery store and saw a realtor (was wearing a name badge) so I went up to him and was talking about the market.

I told him that I am thinking about putting my house on the market this summer.

I asked him if he would like to present his marketing plan to me when I am ready. He told me that he lives in the area but that he works mainly in Corona and Orange County.

He gave me your name and said that I should contact you. I told him that I know of you already.

He said that he bought a house thru you himself and you would take good care of me. That really says something about you to have another realtor recommend you!

He must think very highly of you. Anyway, just wanted you to know that, in case you may want to thank him personally.

I most likely will be calling you when I am ready.

Caribbean is hot as 2nd-home market
Lesser-known and more remote islands draw development boom

By June Fletcher
The Wall Street Journal

In a bid to feed the growing appetite for second homes among U.S. residents, a number of major developers are building luxury projects on far-flung Caribbean islands.
Americans have been buying vacation or retirement places for years on well-known Caribbean islands like St. Thomas, Barbados and St. Croix. But the latest wave of building involves real estate that doesn't register on most people's radar -- islands with names like Great Exuma, Roatan and Scrub -- and is geared toward everyone from small-time investors looking for bargains to wealthy executives seeking tax havens.
The new waterfront developments include big players like Marriott International's Ritz-Carlton, Four Seasons Hotels and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide's St. Regis Hotels and Resorts. With Swiss/Italian partners, New York developer Donald Trump is building Trump Island Villas on the five-square-mile island of Canouan.
At least 30 resorts with some residential component are planned or under construction throughout the Caribbean, double the number of two years ago, says Scott Berman, a partner specializing in the hospitality industry at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Miami.
Although island chains closest to the U.S., like the Bahamas and Puerto Rico, remain popular, Geoffrey Pidduck, an Antigua real-estate broker, has seen home prices as much as quadruple in the past two years on the lesser-known and more remote Caribbean islands. "It's been a feeding frenzy," he says.
The development boom is part of a broader movement of Americans buying homes overseas in pursuit of better climate, cheaper cost of living, tax breaks or other incentives another country may offer. Some are simply looking for lower-cost waterfront housing without having to compromise certain standards. A growing scarcity of prime waterfront property on better-known islands is causing builders to turn to more isolated places.
While a bare-bones condominium in a place like the Dominican Republic can sell for as little as $40,000, prices in the higher-end resorts are much more expensive.
Offering everything from nanny service to massages to private chefs, the packed-with-amenities developments can rival the cost of oceanfront resort developments stateside. They range from $325,000 for one-bedroom apartments at NonSuch Bay, an Antiguan resort being built by the Dutch development group La Perla International Living, to $7 million for ultra-contemporary four-bedroom villas at Viceroy Resort and Residences on Anguilla, built by the Kor Hotel Group.
To attract buyers who can afford to pay these prices, but don't want the hassle of importing furniture, developers often sweeten the deal by offering furnishings.
Not all of the developments are being done by famous resort chains, though these, of course, tend to be more modest. Windward Development Group, based in St. Georges, Grenada, is building 40 villas ranging from $500,000 to $1 million on Carriacou, a 13-square-mile island that's about 5 miles south of Canouan. Opening at the end of this year, the project will encompass a 20-unit hotel with spa services, a restaurant and a mini-putting range.

MEN ARE HAPPIER...FROM LISA...

thanks lisa!!

hope you all have a great day....

Men Are Just Happier PeopleWhat do you expect from such simple creatures? Your last name stays put. The garage is all yours. Wedding plans take care of themselves. Chocolate is just another snack. You can be President. You can never be pregnant. You can wear a white T-shirt to a water park. You can wear NO shirt to a water park. Car mechanics tell you the truth. The world is your urinal. You never have to drive to another gas station restroom because this one is just too icky. You don't have to stop and think of which way to turn a nut on a bolt. Same work, more pay. Wrinkles add character. Wedding dress $5000. Tux rental-$100. People never stare at your chest when you're talking to them. The occasional well-rendered belch is practically expected. New shoes don't cut, blister, or mangle your feet. One mood all the time. Phone conversations are over in 30 seconds flat. You know stuff about tanks. A five-day vacation requires only one suitcase. You can open all your own jars. You get extra credit for the slightest act of thoughtfulness. If someone forgets to invite you, he or she can still be your friend.Your underwear is $8.95 for a three-pack. Three pairs of shoes are more than enough. You almost never have strap problems in public. You are unable to see wrinkles in your clothes. Everything on your face stays its original color. The same hairstyle lasts for years, maybe decades. You only have to shave your face and neck. You can play with toys all your life. Your belly usually hides your big hips. One wallet and one pair of shoes one color for all seasons. You can wear shorts no matter how your legs look. You can "do" your nails with a pocket knife. You have the freedom of choice concerning growing a moustache. You can do Christmas shopping for 25 relatives on December 24 in 25 minutes. No wonder men are happier.

time and rain

VICTORY!! I'm so glad to finally get this up and running.... It's raining really hard outside right now...and I think it's too late to go out of town...so will wait until tomorrow morning. I will be working via my laptop so hopefully that will be a good thing. I will begin experiencing what it's like to be anywhere and working from my laptop. I think it's safe to say that my blog and aol will be no longer.....wow, that was fun learning how to blog, etc. Hope that you will enjoy this blog just as much as the last one.

Got alot of headway covered tonight.

Submitted my ad for this weekend's newspaper and real estate section of The Daily Bulletin. Darlene Court will be featured again, this time BIGGER. Darlene is such a nice home, and Lewis Built for the Lewis fans in the house...hope it's in escrow soon and with a successful buyer(s).

I'm babbling now....so gonna run....believe me, there's so much to talk about, I'm sure I'll put more down in here in the near future. Gonna email my contacts and let them know that I'm "up and running"....time and rain....NICE!
